Overview
Youthful MD provides patients with a world-class virtual medical experience in the comfort of their own homes. Designpax was hired to build the brand, design and build the website, build server-side applications, and integrate with third-party EMR platforms, all HIPAA compliant.
Specializing in virtual online medical experiences, YouthfulMD provides virtual care and products for a wide range of conditions, including hair loss, hormone imbalance, and weight loss. The brand needed a website that could serve as a robust platform for both online medical evaluations and e-commerce, while also allowing visitors to explore and get to know the company’s wide range of medical services. Since healthcare is a highly regulated space, any site developed would need to be HIPAA-compliant to ensure quality of service and protect the reputation of the YouthfulMD brand.
YouthfulMD turned to Designpax for help with this large-scale project. Designpax developed the site in WordPress, using the Woocommerce open-source plugin to enable e-commerce on the site and integrating the site via APIs with several third-party medical platforms. Additional features integrated into the site included a geolocation filter to ensure that visitors were accessing products and services in keeping with local and state regulations.
The resulting website delivered on all fronts, providing YouthfulMD with the robust, full-service platform they needed. The company now has a compliant way to provide services, prescribe medication, sell medical products, and engage a growing community of patients.
