Facebook Fan Page – How will it Help my Business?

As if you – a busy business owner – possibly needs one more thing on your plate, how about a Facebook page to keep up? Isn’t it enough you have to deal with your own personal page and your cousins who keep throwing virtual sheep at you?

In reality, you probably could survive without a Facebook Fan page, but customers have come to expect social interaction and since most businesses survive by giving their customers what they want, then it might be time for you to just hop online and start creating a Facebook fan page.

Fortunately, it’s not all bad. In fact, there are a lot of pluses that come from a Facebook fan page including:

  • Search Results – More search results are always better. Help your customers find you online with a Facebook page.
  • Interaction – It’s scary to say, but some customers go-to Facebook to ask questions before they consider picking up the phone. Make sure your social savvy (or addicted) customers can find you.
  • Branding – Facebook allows business owners to let the more fun and personable side of their business show through video, photos, and wall posts.
  • Cheap – Fan pages are free! The price is definitely right, even for small businesses.
  • Keep in Touch – A Facebook fan page gives you a great way to keep in touch with customers who might forget about you if they hadn’t become your fan after their last visit.

Facebook doesn’t have to be a time-suck. If managed correctly, it can actually be a great marketing tool that doesn’t require much time or effort.
